Job Title: Area Sales Representative

We are so much more than a Parts Company and we are looking for even more great talent to join our NAPA family! We are seeking an experienced and high-energy full-time Area Sales Representative to join our growing auto parts team in Corpus Christi, Texas.

About the Role:

The Area Sales Representative acts as primary point of contact calling on new and existing wholesale, fleet, and national account customers within a defined territory to ensure sales by determining customer needs. Position reports to Area Manager.

• Works with Store Managers and Area Manager to provide planning to reach product and sales goals.
• Prospects on new customers.
• Calls on new and existing wholesale, fleet, and national account customers within a defined territory to establish and/or grow relationships and sales penetration.
• Promotes the full line of NAPA products and programs to existing customers.
• Provides a daily/weekly sales report to the Area Manager.
• Stays continuously informed of new NAPA products or sales promotions by working with the product sales team and participates in NAPA Training.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years of auto industry and outside sales experience required.
• Knowledge of NAPA products and supply chain systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and active listening communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary and the stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift and lift up to 60 lbs. of merchandise.
• Day-to-day travel is >80%.
• Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused.
• Work experience in MS Office proficiency in Excel.
